Even though Tommy is known for his boisterous antics, Veronica’s father recounts a story where he was watching Tommy in a post-game interview for the Yankees and he immediately knew Tommy was nervous.
Veronica worked with Tommy to help him deal with his anxiety when it came to interview. Tommy said it was almost as if he would black out during the interviews. She taught him a very simple yet powerful technique. It is to just “breathe.”
Veronica’s work took her to some very acute cases at the Four Winds Hospital where she takes patients from their lowest points ever to feeling hope in just a week.
