On October 4, 2022, baseball history was made when Aaron Judge hit his 62nd homerun for the season. In the second game of a doubleheader where the Yankees played the Texas Rangers in the last series of the regular season, Judge hit leadoff. He had been in a mini-homerun drought. When the clock struck 8:05 pm ET, the pitch was thrown and Judge sent it 391 feet to the left field side where the ball was caught but a very lucky fan. That fan’s name? Cory Youmans who caught Aaron Judge’s 62nd homerun.

Cory Youmans was quickly escorted out by Texas Rangers security as he had the coveted (and let’s definitely say, high value baseball). Watch as Corey walks out with the soon to be very famous ball.
