1) The couple have been dating for years. About a year after Michael entered the major leagues, he coupled up with Cabernet.
2) Michael popped the question in January of this year. He proposed in Mexico at a resort getaway, according to The New York Post. While the Mets star isn’t active on Instagram anymore, his bride-to-be is.
3) Besides cheering on her fiancé, Cabernet is the vice president of Prom Series. It’s an organization dedicated to providing foster kids a once-in-a-lifetime experience that prom (or any special event, really) is supposed to be.
4) She’s a dog mom. She and Michael have two dogs: Griffey and Kali. Griffey is a red labrador, and Kali was adopted into their family last year. They even have their own Instagram: @GriffeyAndKali.
5) When she’s not spending her time in New York, she’s in Arizona. It appears she splits her time between the two places when she can. If you go off her Facebook page though, she’s from Oregon. And, if you go off her LinkedIn, she worked in Los Angeles at one point in time.
